Focal Point presents the Command Ready, a trailer-mounted satellite internet/network system. The Command Ready is a fully functional internet communications center or fall-back network infrastructure for use when usual methods of communication fail. Communications with the Command Ready are unaffected by power outages, downed towers, and can be moved upwind from HAZMAT situations or provide video forward deployment when fixed stations cannot.
The Command Ready is constructed of welded aluminum with a proprietary welded aluminum frame. The case contains lift handles, Whelen LED warning lights, all necessary switching and power supplies to allow for battery power or line voltage, network equipment, a MotoSAT DataStorm XF3, D3 positioner, and iDirect modem. The folding lid can be operated by one person.
The trailer carries the Command Ready case, a cabinet for mounting the weatherproof shock-mounted equipment rack and a Honda 2000 watt generator, 13-inch radial tires and wheels and a torsion axle with heavy duty trailing arms to handle the increased side load of the larger tires and wheels. A dolly for moving the trailer without hitching it to a vehicle is optional. In addition, since we build each one of these units in the United States; we can customize paint, decals, or add any feature you would like to include, such as cargo hooks for helicopter delivery and retrieval.
Any device that can be connected to the Internet can be connected to this satellite system. Focal Point offers those listed below, and others such as trans-global video conferencing available through others. Bandwidth tailored to your needs is available on a web interface and can be operated completely by the user without waiting for a human response. Communications-Applied Technology interoperability equipment is available for incident scene communications between portable radios and telephones.

On-Demand Bandwidth
For a contract maintenance fee, the end user can activate bandwidth, deactivate bandwidth, purchase additional QOS bandwidth, and operate from a pre-paid service card without contacting a Network Operations Center by phone. When the antenna is deployed, a web interface accesses all user options.
